Forgiveness
Forgiveness is mandatory-not optional-in the life of a Christian. With it, we release the grace and mercy to others that we are so accustomed to receiving from the Father. Without it, we shut off the flow of God's forgiveness toward us and remain in spiritual darkness. Forgiveness always benefits the one who is forgiving, providing healing and renewal, while simultaneously ensuring the vital union with heaven remains intact. If we want to live in God's best and enjoy victory, we must forgive. As you complete this study on forgiveness, make a renewed commitment to keep a clear heart and pure conscience before God; make the commitment to always forgive.
