If you’re in need of encouragement today, have I got (good) news for you: it’s in His hand.
Now before you ask what I mean, allow me to explain, or better still, share a rousing “case study”:
“…I felt encouraged because the gracious hand of the Lord my God was on me….” (Ezra 7:28, NLT)
As you read the details around Ezra’s circumstances, you see the dynamic results that came about because of the hand of the Lord, resulting in his encouraged state. When God’s hand is on our life, it’s for blessing–favor, help, strength, success, peace and so much more–including encouragement. Because after all, when God moves in our lives, the end result is always encouragement (or taking courage), where discouragement may have existed moments before. This was Ezra’s reality and it’s ours, too. And if that wasn’t glorious enough, His hand is also set against our adversary (the devil and his works) for judgement and destruction.
And note that Ezra didn’t credit people with his encouragement; He knew that the Source was the Hand of God. Thank God for His hand being on your life in every way you need it–and you will be encouraged. Promise.
Blessings,
Dawn
